Hi, I have an Alienware Aurora-R4(don't shame me I was 14) which I got about 5 years ago. For the last couple of months, it froze on random occasions, mostly while gaming. The only thing I can do when this happens is to restart my PC.
I friend of mine advised me to install a clean version of windows, so I did just that but that didn't help.
I also did the following tests:
DirectX diagnosis of my Graphics Card --> no errors
SpeedFan Hard Disk test
--> hard disk Power On Hours Count attribute current value (88) is below the normal range (99 - 100)
--> hard disk Power Cycle Count attribute current value (97) is below the normal range (100 - 100)
CPU stability Test --> Error module TPrime.
I don't really know what to do with this information, would a replacement of my CPU or Hard Disk guarantee no more freezes, or are these Errors minor and something different is the problem?
